What is the deposit policy? 50% deposit is due at the time of booking with the remaining amount due before departing on the charter.

How many people can go on the charter? Kodiak Kings charters private groups only. Each group must have 2-4 people to comfortably fish on the Miss Kendal.

Do I need to get a fishing license? Yes, each person 16 and over needs a fishing license with a King Stamp.

What happens with the fish I catch? Your fish will be preserved on ice for the duration of the charter. You are welcome to keep your fish, process them on your own using one of the cleaning stations at the harbor, or connect with one of our local processors for processing and shipping. We recommend Kodiak Home Packing at 907-654-9295.
What is provided on the charters? We provide the boat and gas as well as all the fishing gear, bait, and ice.

What should I bring? You will need to bring any food or drinks you will need for the day and your fishing license.

What should I wear? Guests should come prepared with rain gear, a sweatshirt, and a light jacket.
​
Is there a bathroom on the Miss Kendal? Yes, there is a bathroom for guests to use.
​
What time should I arrive? Meet at the Miss Kendal, located at the end of G float at St. Hermon's Harbor, Dog Bay, at 7:45 am the day of your charter.

What happens if there is going to be bad weather? The captain will make the decision to cancel in the case of bad weather. This decision will be communicated to you as soon as possible. Full refunds will be issued in the case of cancellation determined by the captain, due to weather. Rebooking will be an option depending on availability.
