Trip Information

At Kodiak Kings, we provide what we feel to be the finest fishing gear available. We fish Diawa rods and Penn reels. We use Scotty electric downriggers and are equipped with state-of-the-art Garmin electronics. Kodiak Kings will provide all necessary tackle, bait, and ice to harvest and preserve your catch.
Your catch will be bled and kept on slush ice until we return to the dock. At that point, you are free to choose and take your catch to one of the local custom processors to have your fish packaged to your specifications, frozen, and arrange shipping.

What You Need to Bring

Your party will be responsible for packing your own lunch, snacks, and beverages.
A physical or digital copy of your Alaska Sportfishing license with a king stamp. Licenses can be purchased locally at Walmart, Big Rays Sporting Goods, or on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game website.

We recommend motion sickness treatment be taken 1 hour before departure for any member of your party who does not have experience on the ocean. As they say, "Better Safe Than Sorry".
We fish rain or shine and always recommend our guests bring their own rain gear and a warm jacket. The cabin of the Miss Kendal is comfortable, warm, and dry but that isn’t where the action happens.
